  1. Develop and implement strategies for the ongoing delivery of reliable and secure network services for the organization.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the network infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  3. Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, making recommendations and implementing solutions as needed.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into network service requirements.
  5. Manage and lead a team of network engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  6. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
  7. Develop and maintain network service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds agreed-upon standards.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology, making recommendations for improvement or enhancement as necessary.
  9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on network service performance and any potential issues or risks.
  10. Develop and maintain network service delivery processes and procedures, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards.

  • Extensive Experience In Network Management: A Qualified Candidate For The Network Service Delivery Manager Position At New York Life Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Network Infrastructure, Protocols, And Technologies. This Includes Experience In Managing Lan/Wan Networks, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, And Other Network Devices.

  • Strong Project Management Skills: The Network Service Delivery Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Various Network Projects, Such As Upgrades, Expansions, And Maintenance. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Develop Project Plans, Manage Timelines, And Allocate Resources Effectively.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices: New York Life Is A Highly Regulated Organization, And As Such, It Is Crucial For The Network Service Delivery Manager To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Best Practices And Compliance Requirements. This Includes Knowledge Of Security Standards, Data Privacy Laws, And Disaster Recovery Protocols.

  • Effective Communication And Leadership Abilities: As A Manager, The Network Service Delivery Manager Will Be Required To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Network Engineers And Technicians. They Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Stakeholders, And Senior Management. Additionally, They Should Have Strong Leadership Abilities To Motivate And Guide Their Team Towards Achieving Departmental Goals.
