  1. Manage and adjudicate long term disability claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Review medical records and analyze policy provisions to determine eligibility for disability benefits.
  3. Make informed decisions based on policy provisions, medical records, and other relevant information.
  4. Communicate with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates on claim status.
  5. Ensure compliance with insurance policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities and decisions.
  7. Collaborate with other members of the claims team to ensure efficient and effective claims processing.
  8. Provide excellent customer service and support to clients during the claims process.
  9. Stay updated on industry changes, regulations, and best practices related to disability claims management.
  10. Identify and escalate complex or high-risk claims to senior management for further review.
  11. Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to privacy policies.
  13. Conduct investigations and gather evidence when necessary to support claim decisions.
  14. Ensure timely payment of benefits to eligible clients.
  15. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of effective claims management strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Insurance, Finance, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Insurance Industry, Preferably In Long Term Disability Claims.

  • Strong Understanding Of State And Federal Disability Laws And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Handle Complex And Sensitive Claim Situations.
