We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Analytics & Insights, serving as the Corporate Vice President for our Data & AI department. This is a senior leadership role that will play a critical role in driving our company's data strategy and leveraging the power of AI to inform business decisions.   1. Develop and lead the overall data strategy for the company, in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Drive the use of data analytics and AI to inform business decisions and drive growth and innovation.
  3. Build and manage a high-performing team of data analysts and scientists to support the company's data strategy.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key business questions and develop analytical solutions to address them.
  5. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on data-driven initiatives and opportunities.
  6. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the data strategy, making adjustments as needed.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and AI, and incorporate them into the company's approach.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on data initiatives.
  9. Oversee the collection, organization, and maintenance of data from various sources.
  10. Ensure data integrity and accuracy, and implement measures to protect sensitive data.
  11. Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures.
  12. Prepare and present reports and insights to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  13. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies through data analysis.
  14. Manage the department budget and resources effectively.
  15. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Data Analysis And Insights: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Data Analytics, With A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Valuable Insights And Driving Business Growth Through Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As The Head Of Analytics & Insights, This Role Will Require Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Guide A Team Of Data Analysts And Scientists. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing And Developing High-Performing Teams.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Data And Ai Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Latest Data And Ai Technologies, Such As Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, And Predictive Analytics. They Should Be Able To Leverage These Technologies To Drive Innovation And Efficiency In The Organization.

  • Business Acumen: In Addition To Technical Expertise, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Business Acumen And The Ability To Translate Data Insights Into Actionable Business Strategies. They Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Data Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Drive Data-Driven Decision-Making Across The Organization.

  • Strategic Mindset: The Head Of Analytics & Insights Will Play A Crucial Role In Shaping The Data And Ai Strategy For New York Life.
