Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and organized Assistant Stockroom Manager to join the team at New Balance and assist with the day-to-day operations of our stockroom. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with us and who takes pride in their work.The successful candidate must have previous stockroom experience, a strong customer service background, and a high school diploma or equivalent. They should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Additionally, they should have experience using stockroom software and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom.
  2. Receive and process merchandise orders, including unloading, stocking and organizing the stockroom.
  3. Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and alerting the supervisor of any discrepancies.
  4. Assist customers with locating items in the stockroom and answer any questions they may have.
  5. Process customer returns and exchanges.
  6. Assist with restocking products when necessary.
  7. Operate stockroom software to track shipments, manage inventory levels, and process orders.
  8. Assist with training new team members on stockroom procedures and policies.
  9. Assist with other duties as needed.
  10. Follow safety protocols and procedures for handling packages and lifting up to 50 pounds.
