Job Description

Nelnet is looking for an experienced Training Specialist to join our team and support our mission of providing superior customer service. This individual will be responsible for developing, delivering, and facilitating a wide variety of training programs to meet the needs of our employees and customers.The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and teaching, and will possess strong communication and organizational skills. We are looking for a creative, energetic individual who can think quickly and troubleshoot any issues that arise. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in training and development in a corporate environment.If you are an experienced Training Specialist who is looking to make an impact, Nelnet wants to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Design and develop training programs to meet the needs of Nelnet's employees and customers
Facilitate training sessions for employees and customers
Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of training programs
Maintain accurate records of training activities
Work with department managers to identify training needs and develop appropriate solutions
Stay abreast of current trends in training and development
Assess employee performance and provide feedback
Provide support and guidance to employees to ensure successful completion of training objectives
Monitor and evaluate employee performance post-training
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to facilitate training initiatives.
