Risk Management Analyst

At Nelnet, we are looking for a highly motivated and organized Risk Management Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of risk management principles and be able to identify and analyze potential risks throughout the organization. The Risk Management Analyst will be responsible for developing strategies to mitigate risk, conducting due diligence, handling compliance matters, and providing input for the development of internal policies.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Additionally, the candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.We are seeking a candidate who has at least a bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related field and at least three years of experience in risk management or compliance. Responsibilities:

6. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Develop risk management plans and procedures.
8. Prepare and present risk management reports to management.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of risk management best practices.
10. Investigate and resolve risk-related issues.
