  1. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation from new clients.
  2. Communicate with clients to provide guidance and support during the onboarding process.
  3. Utilize technical knowledge to configure client accounts on our platform.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the onboarding process.
  5. Ensure accuracy and completeness of client data and documentation.
  6. Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and progress.
  7. Continuously improve and streamline the onboarding process.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in our platform to provide the most current and efficient onboarding process.
  10. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  11. Prioritize and manage a high volume of onboarding tasks within tight deadlines.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security.
  13. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
  14. Act as a representative of Nelnet, promoting our services and maintaining a positive image of the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Hr And Onboarding Processes: The Onboarding Configuration Specialist I Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Hr Processes, Specifically Related To Onboarding New Employees. They Should Be Familiar With Industry Best Practices And Have Experience In Implementing Onboarding Solutions.

  • Experience With Hr Technology Platforms: Nelnet Uses Various Hr Technology Platforms For Onboarding, Such As Workday And Ultipro. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Working With These Or Similar Platforms, With The Ability To Configure And Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Attention To Detail: Onboarding Can Be A Complex And Detailed Process, With Many Different Moving Parts. The Onboarding Configuration Specialist I Must Have A Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Steps Are Completed Accurately And Efficiently.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Will Require Working Closely With Hr, It, And Other Departments To Configure And Maintain The Onboarding Process. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Different Teams And Stakeholders.

  • Ability To Adapt To Change: As With Any Technology-Driven Role, The Onboarding Configuration Specialist I Must Be Able To Adapt To Changes And Updates In The Onboarding Process. This May Include Learning New Software Or Processes, And The Candidate Should Be Able To Quickly Adapt And Implement Changes As Needed.
