Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to join our team at Nelnet. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure and systems. Our ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem solving skills.To be successful in this role, you must have strong experience in network and systems administration as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Responsibilities:

Maintain and troubleshoot the network infrastructure and systems.
Monitor network performance and ensure network uptime.
Resolve technical issues related to the network infrastructure and systems.
Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software components.
Create and maintain documentation related to the network infrastructure and systems.
Research and stay up to date on the latest technologies related to network and systems administration.
Develop and implement security policies to protect network infrastructure and systems.
Provide technical support to users and manage user accounts.
Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify potential security risks.
Work with external vendors to resolve technical issues.
