Loan Servicing Specialist

As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for accurately processing loan documents and ensuring that all loan servicing activities are completed according to the terms of the loan.To be successful in this role, you must have excellent problem solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:

1. Accurately process loan documents in accordance to Nelnet's policies and procedures.
2. Provide excellent customer service and act as a liaison between customers and Nelnet.
3. Ensure that all loan servicing activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently.
5. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals.
7. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and account activity.
8. Remain organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
9. Monitor customer accounts and ensure on-time loan payments.
10. Follow up with customers on any discrepancies or outstanding loan payments.
