At Nelnet, we're looking for a Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team and assist in delivering exceptional customer service and ensure loan accounts are properly serviced. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong financial background and extensive customer service experience. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance to customers related to their loan accounts and ensuring that their accounts are serviced in accordance with our guidelines. You will also be responsible for accurately recording customer information and ensuring loan accounts are current and up-to-date.To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. You should also be comfortable using computers and possess an understanding of loan servicing processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to customers regarding their loan accounts.
- Accurately record customer information and ensure loan accounts are up-to-date.
- Ensure loan accounts are serviced in accordance with guidelines.
- Handle multiple tasks and work independently.
