Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Nelnet. This individual will be a key member of our IT Support team and will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our internal and external customers.The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service, a strong technical background in IT, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. They should also have exceptional communication and organizational skills, as well as an excellent attention to detail.We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is excited to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  3. Maintain excellent customer service and communication with customers.
  4. Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
  5. Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
  6. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of customer service interactions.
  7. Ensure compliance with Nelnet’s IT policies and procedures.
  8. Monitor system performance and ensure system security.
  9. Provide training and support to team members as needed.
  10. Stay up-to-date on new technologies and industry trends.
