We at Nelnet are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in providing top-notch technical support to our customers. The ideal candidate should have a high-level of technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and an eagerness to learn new technologies. We’re looking for someone who is a team player, able to work independently, and who enjoys making our customers’ lives easier.The successful applicant should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, be knowledgeable in Windows and Mac operating systems, and have a demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software. We value customer service experience, as well as the ability to think quickly and apply creative problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent and timely technical support to customers.
  2. Respond quickly to customer inquiries regarding hardware and software issues.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
  4. Maintain knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  5. Apply creative problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve customer issues.
  6. Utilize customer service experience to effectively manage customer issues.
  7. Maintain knowledge of current IT trends and technologies.
  8. Work collaboratively and independently on assigned tasks.
  9. Utilize customer feedback to improve customer service.
  10. Document and update customer service records.
