Graphic Designer

Nelnet is looking for a talented, creative, and innovative Graphic Designer to join our team. This position requires a person who is highly skilled in graphic design and with a strong passion for creating beautiful visuals. We’re looking for someone who has the technical savvy to create outstanding graphics with excellent attention to detail. The Graphic Designer must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.The ideal candidate should have a degree in graphic design, web design, or a related field and a demonstrated portfolio of work that shows a high level of creativity. The Graphic Designer should possess excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of print and digital production techniques is also required.

Responsibilities:

1. Designing, creating, and editing graphics for print and digital media, including websites, magazines, marketing materials, and other web-based projects
2. Working collaboratively with other designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy of all projects
3. Understanding and keeping up to date with industry trends and technologies related to graphic design
4. Developing and maintaining a portfolio of creative work to showcase skill sets
5. Utilizing software such as Adobe Creative Suite and other similar applications to create graphics
6. Ensuring all designs meet brand guidelines and standards
7. Maintaining records of design processes and project timelines
8. Assisting with the development of creative concepts for campaigns, promotions, and other digital projects
9. Researching and staying current with latest design trends and techniques
10. Preparing artwork for printing and digital production
