Nelnet is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about data and has a strong understanding of data analysis, visualization, and reporting techniques.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics. You should also possess strong technical skills, including the ability to write complex SQL queries and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel and Tableau. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain data models and analysis to support business objectives.
Identify and troubleshoot data issues and discrepancies.
Develop and execute complex SQL queries.
Utilize data analysis tools such as Excel and Tableau to visualize data and create reports.
Research and analyze industry trends and identify areas of opportunity.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Develop and implement data processes and standards.
Assist in creating and interpreting data dashboards.
Monitor data sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Develop and maintain documentation of data models, processes, and analysis.
