Job Description

At Nelnet, we are looking for a Call Center Supervisor to join our team and take our customer service to the next level. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service for our customers and this position is integral to our success. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced leader, possessing excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for customer satisfaction and a drive to exceed expectations.To be considered for this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in a call center environment, with at least 3 years of that experience in a supervisory role. In addition, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. Experience in managing a team and providing coaching and mentoring is also essential. Finally, a working knowledge of CRM systems and call center technology is preferred.If you have the qualifications and skills we are looking for, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the call center team to ensure customer service goals are met.
  2. Monitor customer interactions and provide feedback to team members.
  3. Develop strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction.
  4. Analyze customer feedback and develop improvement plans.
  5. Develop and implement call center policies and procedures.
  6. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
  7. Track team performance and identify areas of improvement.
  8. Resolve customer complaints and escalate if necessary.
  9. Monitor call center technology and systems and identify issues.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CRM systems and call center technology.
