Job Description

At Nelnet, we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Application Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our customers, ensuring their applications are working properly and efficiently. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving application issues as quickly as possible.To be successful in this role, you should have experience in software and application support, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A technical background and an understanding of networking and system administration are also essential.We are looking for a customer-oriented professional who is passionate about technology and is eager to provide excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance and customer service to customers regarding application issues and questions.
  2. Identify and troubleshoot software and application issues in a timely manner.
  3. Analyze and diagnose system problems and provide solutions.
  4. Monitor system performance and take corrective action when needed.
  5. Maintain and update documentation of customer issues and resolutions.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  7. Stay up to date on new technologies and software applications.
  8. Assist with the installation and configuration of applications.
  9. Develop and implement training programs for customers.
  10. Provide support to customers in the use of the applications.
