Taxation/Accounting Intern

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of experience in either taxation or accounting is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and taxation returns
2. Assist in the monitoring of accounts receivable and payable
3. Assist in the reconciliation of bank accounts and other financial accounts
4. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns
5. Aid in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
6. Assist with the enforcement of internal control policies
7. Prepare and maintain financial records
8. Prepare reports and analysis for management
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and taxation policies and regulations
10. Provide general administrative support to the accounting and taxation team
