- Design, implement and maintain advanced broadcasting systems for NBC Sports Bay Area.
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with broadcasting systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in broadcasting technology.
- Participate in system upgrades and ensure minimal disruption to broadcasting operations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the network infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with vendors to evaluate and implement new systems.
- Train and mentor junior team members on system engineering best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for broadcasting systems.
- Act as a subject matter expert for systems engineering within the NBCUniversal Media organization.
- Uphold the company's values and represent NBC Sports Bay Area in a professional manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Systems Engineering, Preferably In A Media Or Broadcast Environment.
Proficiency In Programming And Scripting Languages, Such As Python, Java, And Bash.
Strong Knowledge Of Network Architecture, Server Infrastructure, And Cloud Computing.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
