- Oversee all SG&A procurement operations for NBCUniversal Media, ensuring efficiency and cost savings across all categories.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to support business objectives and drive overall procurement excellence.
- Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, support and fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Identify and engage with external suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing and terms that align with business goals.
- Analyze market trends and conduct research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities and make recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor and track supplier performance and compliance, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure procurement activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain procurement budgets, forecasts and reports to provide visibility on spending and savings.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, and implement best practices to optimize procurement operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations, and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences, and build relationships with industry peers and suppliers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to ensure a high-performing and engaged team.
Extensive Experience In Procurement And Supply Chain Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Procurement And Supply Chain Management, Preferably In A Large Media Or Entertainment Company. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Procurement Processes, Vendor Management, And Cost Optimization Strategies.
Strong Negotiation Skills: As A Senior Procurement Manager, Sg&A, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Negotiating Contracts With Vendors And Suppliers. They Should Possess Excellent Negotiation Skills And Be Able To Secure The Best Terms And Prices For The Company.
Financial Acumen: A Senior Procurement Manager, Sg&A, Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Concepts And Be Able To Analyze And Interpret Financial Data. They Should Have Experience In Budgeting, Forecasting, And Cost Analysis To Support Decision-Making.
