Job Description

At NBCUniversal Media, we are looking for a Manager of Incident Management with the right blend of technical know-how and leadership ability to join our team. As the Manager of Incident Management, you’ll be responsible for leading our incident response team in providing solutions to any system-related issues in a timely and effective manner. We’re looking for an individual with a strong technical background and the capacity to lead a team. If you’re the organized, detail-oriented type who can handle the pressure of a high-stakes role, then this may be the position for you.Required qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; at least 5 years of experience in a technical role; excellent communication and organizational skills; and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the incident response team in providing solutions to any system-related issues
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of incidents
  • Monitor incident resolution progress and adjust team assignments as necessary
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve incident management processes
  • Create incident reports and analyze metrics to track performance
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely problem resolution
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and other teams
  • Train, mentor, and coach team members on incident response best practices and procedures
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards and technologies related to incident management
