  1. Manage the overall scheduling process for NBC Sports live events, ensuring that all events are scheduled efficiently and effectively.
  2. Oversee a team of schedulers, providing guidance and direction to ensure that all scheduling tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather and analyze data and make strategic scheduling decisions.
  4. Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to ensure optimal use of resources and maximize viewership.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor schedules to make informed scheduling decisions.
  6. Communicate with internal and external partners, including production teams, league officials, and venue representatives, to secure necessary approvals and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of scheduling plans.
  8. Create and maintain detailed schedules for each event, including production timelines, broadcast schedules, and talent assignments.
  9. Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient scheduling and cost-effectiveness.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and sales, to develop promotional strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
  11. Train and mentor schedulers to ensure a high level of accuracy and efficiency in their work.
  12. Monitor and analyze viewership data to make data-driven decisions for future scheduling.
  13. Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies.
  14. Proactively identify and troubleshoot potential scheduling issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate any disruptions.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Sports Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Field Scheduling, Preferably In A Sports Media Or Entertainment Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Departments And External Partners.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Sports Broadcasting And Scheduling, With A Keen Understanding Of Ratings And Audience Demographics.
