- Develop and implement media relations strategies to promote and enhance the reputation of NBCUniversal Media and its brands.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists.
- Act as the primary spokesperson and point of contact for media inquiries and interviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pitch newsworthy stories and content.
- Proactively monitor and respond to media coverage, providing timely and accurate information to address any potential issues or crisis situations.
- Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to support media outreach efforts.
- Plan and execute media events, such as press conferences, screenings, and interviews.
- Oversee the media relations team and provide guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and news to identify opportunities for media coverage and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all media platforms.
- Manage media relations budgets and track the effectiveness of communications efforts.
- Act as a brand ambassador and represent NBCUniversal Media at industry events and conferences.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the media relations team.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new strategies and tactics to improve media relations efforts.
- Maintain a strong understanding of NBCUniversal Media's diverse portfolio and effectively communicate key messages to the media and public.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Media Relations, Preferably In The Entertainment Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Successful Media Relations Campaigns And Crisis Management.
Strong Network Of Media Contacts And Relationships With Key Industry Influencers And Journalists.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Pitch And Represent Nbcuniversal Media To External Media Outlets.
