Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Human Resources & Employee Relations to join the team at NBCUniversal Media. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in implementing human resources and employee relations initiatives, fostering a positive work environment, and driving organizational transformation. This highly visible role requires a strategic and proactive leader with superior communication and interpersonal skills.The Director of Human Resources & Employee Relations will work closely with the senior management team and have responsibility for creating, implementing, and evaluating HR policies and procedures. The successful candidate will possess a combination of consultative and hands-on leadership, a collaborative approach, and an ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.The Director of Human Resources & Employee Relations should have at least 10 years of experience in a corporate HR setting, with a strong background in employee relations and a record of delivering results. The successful candidate will be a creative problem solver with a solid understanding of federal and state labor laws, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to the highest standards of HR professionalism. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and evaluate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
  2. Collaborate with senior management to identify and address organizational needs.
  3. Create and maintain a positive work environment with an emphasis on employee relations.
  4. Develop strategies for organizational transformation and growth.
  5. Monitor employee performance and provide guidance and feedback as needed.
  6. Analyze data to identify potential areas of improvement.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for HR and employee relations initiatives.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals.
  9. Represent the organization at relevant conferences and events.
  10. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
