Director, Accounts Payable Operations

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

3. Lead and manage a team of accounts payable staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality work output.

8. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring all accounts are accurately reconciled and closed in a timely manner.
9. Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of accounts payable operations, including performance metrics, issues, and recommendations.
10. Take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving any issues or roadblocks in the accounts payable process, working closely with other departments to find solutions.
11. Manage and maintain the accounts payable system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team, promoting continuous learning, development, and growth.
13. Develop and manage the department budget, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing cost-control measures.
