- Operate and maintain all equipment in the control room, including switchers, audio consoles, graphics systems, and other related equipment.
- Monitor and adjust audio and video levels during live broadcasts to ensure quality and consistency.
- Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of live broadcasts.
- Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during live broadcasts and make necessary adjustments to maintain on-air quality.
- Implement graphics, lower thirds, and other visual elements as directed by producers and directors.
- Coordinate with engineering and IT departments for any necessary maintenance or repairs of equipment.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest broadcasting technology and techniques, and implement them in daily operations.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new procedures and workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while operating equipment and working in the control room.
- Maintain accurate records of all equipment usage and report any malfunctions or issues to appropriate personnel.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the demands of live broadcasting.
