Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive technology risk management framework for the organization.
Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to the organization's technology systems and data.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate identified risks.
Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that technology risk management is integrated into all business processes.
Monitor and analyze technological trends and developments to identify potential risks and make recommendations for improvement.
Provide guidance and training to employees on technology risk management best practices.
Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to technology risk management.
Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of any technology-related incidents or breaches.
Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders on technology risk management issues and recommendations.
Continuously assess and improve the organization's technology risk management processes and controls.
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulators and auditors, to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
Prepare and present reports on technology risk management to senior management and other stakeholders.
Lead and mentor a team of technology risk professionals to ensure the effective implementation of risk management initiatives.
Proactively identify and escalate any potential risks or deficiencies in the organization's technology systems and processes.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that technology risk management is incorporated into the organization's overall risk management framework.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge Of Technology Risk Management: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Technology Risk Management Principles, Frameworks, And Regulations. They Should Be Able To Identify, Assess, And Mitigate Technology Risks In A Banking Environment.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Controls: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Controls For Technology Processes, Systems, And Applications. They Should Be Able To Design Controls That Comply With Industry Standards And Regulatory Requirements.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Identify And Assess Technology Risks. They Should Also Have The Ability To Think Critically And Problem-Solve In Order To Develop Effective Control Measures.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A First Line Controls Manager, The Candidate Will Be Required To Work Closely With Various Teams, Including Technology, Risk, And Compliance. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential To Effectively Communicate Technology Risks And Controls To Different Stakeholders.
Relevant Qualifications And Certifications: The Candidate Should Have Relevant Qualifications And Certifications In Technology Risk Management, Such As Cisa, Crisc, Or Cissp. These Certifications Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Technology Risk And Controls And Are Highly Valued In The Industry.
