- Oversee compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements for NatWest Group's products and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure that NatWest Group remains up-to-date and compliant with all regulatory changes and updates.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure that all products and services are designed and implemented in accordance with relevant regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify any potential gaps in compliance and develop action plans to address them.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations, and communicate any potential impact to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization on regulatory matters.
- Work closely with the technology team to ensure that all systems and processes are in line with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulators and external partners to stay informed about any changes to regulations and ensure timely compliance.
- Lead and manage a team of technical and regulatory experts to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Drive innovation and technological advancements within the organization to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate any potential risks related to regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and submit reports to senior management on the company's regulatory compliance status.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in regulatory compliance procedures.
- Foster a culture of compliance and responsibility within the organization.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Technical And Regulatory Role Within The Financial Services Industry, Preferably Within A Large Bank Or Financial Institution.
Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Frameworks, Including But Not Limited To Basel Iii, Mifid Ii, And Gdpr.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Finance, Accounting, Or Business Administration. Master's Degree Preferred.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Implementing Technical And Regulatory Projects, Including Coordinating With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical And Regulatory Information To Both Technical And Non-Technical Audiences.
