
Standards Design Manager, Anti-Money Laundering & Counter-Terrorism Financing

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations, keeping up-to-date with any changes or updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess and identify potential risks related to AML and CTF and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing standards and procedures to ensure they are in alignment with current regulations and industry best practices.
- Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure that all standards and procedures are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on AML and CTF regulations and requirements.
- Develop and implement training programs for employees to educate them on AML and CTF regulations and their responsibilities.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with AML and CTF regulations and identify any areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry developments and trends related to AML and CTF to continuously improve standards and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze data and trends related to AML and CTF to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies and industry associations, to stay informed and influence industry standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement new standards and procedures as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert on AML and CTF for the organization and represent the company in industry events and conferences.
- Serve as a point of contact for any AML and CTF related inquiries from internal or external parties.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all standards and procedures related to AML and CTF.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Extensive Knowledge Of Aml And Ctf Regulations: The Standards Design Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Regulations And Frameworks Related To Anti-Money Laundering And Counter-Terrorism Financing, Including The Uk's Money Laundering Regulations And International Standards Set By Organizations Such As Fatf.
Experience In Designing Compliance Programs: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Effective Aml And Ctf Compliance Programs In Financial Institutions. They Should Be Familiar With Risk Assessments, Policies And Procedures, And Training Programs.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Successful Standards Design Manager Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Regulatory Requirements, Identify Potential Gaps In The Current Compliance Framework, And Develop Solutions To Address Them.
Project Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Prioritize Tasks, And Meet Deadlines. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Project Management And Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: As A Key Member Of The Compliance Team, The Standards Design Manager Will Be Responsible For Communicating And Engaging With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Regulators, And External Auditors.
