Job Description

Are you an experienced SOX & Control Manager looking to join an established banking group? NatWest Group is seeking a passionate and driven professional to join their team and lead the Group’s SOX & Control framework. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.The SOX & Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Group’s SOX & Control framework, including the implementation and maintenance of internal control systems, coordination and oversight of external audit activities, review of financial process control activities, and providing ongoing support to operational teams on SOX & Control matters.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a SOX & Control role. Additionally, excellent knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations is essential. If you possess these qualifications, and have a passion for driving financial compliance, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Oversee the Group’s SOX & Control framework, including the implementation and maintenance of internal control systems.
Coordinate and oversee external audit activities.
Review financial process control activities.
Provide ongoing support to operational teams on SOX & Control matters.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
Monitor and report on all SOX & Control related activities.
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Manage the SOX & Control budget.
Prepare and present reports to senior management.
