Design and develop software solutions for NatWest Group's cutting-edge projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
Utilize your expertise in software engineering to develop efficient and innovative solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve and enhance our software.
Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the development process.
Work closely with the project management team to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers in the team.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Collaborate with other teams, including product and UX teams, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.
Follow coding standards and best practices to maintain consistency and scalability of the codebase.
Continuously improve and optimize existing software systems.
Stay organized and document all development processes, including code changes and version control.
Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress and any potential roadblocks.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As Java, C++, Or Python.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Software Development, Preferably In A Financial Services Environment.
Experience With Agile Development Methodologies And Tools Such As Jira, Git, And Jenkins.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Learn And Adapt To New Technologies And Processes.
