- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of corporate governance principles and regulations to ensure compliance and promote best practices within the organization.
- Provide strategic support and guidance to the NatWest Group Executive Committee on governance matters, including but not limited to board processes, committee charters, and governance policies.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to ensure the effective functioning of the Executive Committee and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of board and executive committee meetings, decisions, and actions to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of board and executive committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, and preparation of meeting materials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all governance-related inquiries and communications from internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on emerging trends and developments in corporate governance, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of all required governance-related reports, filings, and disclosures.
- Lead and manage a team of governance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training as necessary.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and ethical behavior within the organization.
- Represent NatWest Group in external forums related to corporate governance, building and maintaining strong relationships with industry peers and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain governance-related policies, processes, and systems.
- Continuously evaluate and improve governance practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and ensure timely implementation and compliance.

Extensive Experience In Corporate Governance: Candidates Should Have A Strong Background In Corporate Governance, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Best Practices For Board And Executive Committee Operations.
