Conduct thorough and comprehensive security tests on our systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
Develop and maintain security testing methodologies and processes to ensure the continuous improvement of our security measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential security gaps and provide recommendations for remediation.
Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure our systems are protected.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of security testing processes, results, and recommendations.
Conduct risk assessments and provide risk mitigation strategies to prevent security breaches.
Work closely with developers and engineers to implement security fixes and improvements.
Perform regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and address any potential weaknesses.
Participate in incident response and provide support in case of security incidents.
Continuously monitor and evaluate our security systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Train and educate employees on security best practices and protocols.
Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with security standards.
Communicate security risks and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Act as a subject matter expert on security testing and provide guidance and support to other team members.
Proactively identify and suggest improvements to our security processes and technologies to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

Job Qualifications

Strong Understanding Of Cybersecurity Principles And Best Practices - A Security Tester At Natwest Group Should Possess A Deep Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Principles, Including Risk Assessment, Threat Detection, And Data Protection. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In Industry Standards And Best Practices For Securing Networks And Systems.
Proficiency In Security Testing Tools And Techniques - The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience With Security Testing Tools Such As Vulnerability Scanners, Penetration Testing Tools, And Threat Intelligence Platforms. They Should Also Be Familiar With Various Testing Methodologies And Techniques, Including Black Box, White Box, And Grey Box Testing.
Experience In Conducting Security Assessments And Audits - Natwest Group Requires A Security Tester Who Has Experience In Conducting Security Assessments And Audits On A Variety Of Systems And Networks. This Includes Identifying Potential Vulnerabilities, Analyzing Security Logs, And Providing Recommendations For Improvement.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance And Standards - As A Financial Institution, Natwest Group Must Comply With Various Security Regulations And Standards. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Regulations, Such As Gdpr And Iso 27001, And Be Able To Ensure That Systems And Processes Are Compliant.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills - Security Testing Often Involves Identifying And Resolving Complex Security Issues.
