  1. Lead and manage a team of UX designers, providing guidance and direction in creating innovative and user-friendly designs.
  2. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs, and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing designs.
  3. Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience.
  4. Develop and maintain design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all digital platforms.
  5. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
  6. Continuously stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design, and incorporate them into the design process.
  7. Conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement and make necessary design changes.
  8. Manage project timelines and deliver designs within given deadlines.
  9. Mentor and coach junior designers, providing constructive feedback to help them grow and improve.
  10. Communicate and present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, advocating for a user-centric approach.
  11. Work closely with the development team to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
  12. Uphold the brand identity and maintain consistency across all digital platforms.
  13. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure the success of designs and make data-driven decisions.
  14. Act as a champion for the user, advocating for their needs and preferences in all design decisions.
  15. Proactively identify and solve design problems, anticipating potential issues and finding creative solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In User-Centered Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Designing Digital Products And Services With A Strong Focus On User-Centered Design Principles. This Includes Conducting User Research, Creating Wireframes, And Prototyping.

  • Proficient In Ux Design Tools: A Lead Ux Designer At Natwest Group Should Be Well-Versed In Industry-Standard Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, And Invision. They Should Also Have Experience With User Testing Tools Like Usertesting.com Or Optimal Workshop.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Lead Designer, The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Their Design Ideas To Cross-Functional Teams. They Should Also Have Experience Managing And Mentoring Junior Designers.

  • Knowledge Of Financial Services Industry: A Solid Understanding Of The Financial Services Industry Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Be Able To Apply Ux Design Principles To Create Innovative And User-Friendly Solutions For Natwest Group's Products And Services.

  • Ability To Drive Design Strategy: The Lead Ux Designer Will Be Responsible For Driving The Overall Design Strategy For Natwest Group. This Includes Collaborating With Stakeholders To Define Design Goals, Creating Design Roadmaps, And Ensuring The Design Team Delivers High-Quality Solutions On Time And Within Budget. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Delivering Complex Design Projects.
