- Conduct thorough investigations and analysis to identify potential financial crimes, including money laundering and fraud.
- Utilize various tools and techniques to monitor and detect suspicious activities within customer accounts and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Compliance and Risk Management, to develop and implement strategies for preventing and mitigating financial crimes.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to financial crime, and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Review and analyze customer accounts and transactions to identify potential red flags and escalate any suspicious findings to the appropriate authorities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders to facilitate information sharing and collaboration in addressing financial crime.
- Conduct due diligence investigations on potential customers and partners to assess their risk level and compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings and recommendations for management and regulatory purposes.
- Provide training and guidance to other team members and employees on financial crime prevention techniques and best practices.
- Participate in internal audits and risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Use data analytics and visualization tools to identify patterns and trends in financial crime activities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Proactively identify and report any potential vulnerabilities in the bank's systems and processes that could be exploited for financial crimes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all data privacy and security policies and procedures.
- Act with a strong sense of ethics and integrity in all aspects of the job, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Continuously review and improve processes and procedures related to financial crime operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Financial Crime Operations, Preferably In A Banking Or Financial Institution.
Strong Understanding Of Anti-Money Laundering (Aml) And Know Your Customer (Kyc) Regulations And Procedures.
Proficient In Using Financial Crime Monitoring Tools And Software, Such As Actimize Or Fircosoft.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Investigate Potential Financial Crime Activities.
