Job Description

NatWest Group is looking for a motivated and experienced Financial Control & Reporting Manager with strong financial acumen and an eye for detail to join our team. The successful candidate will help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, while providing support and guidance to the wider Finance team.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial control and reporting, with an in-depth knowledge of accounting and financial regulations. They should have a minimum of 5 years' experience within a financial reporting role, along with a relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA).The successful candidate will be a team player, with strong communication and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.If you have the necessary qualifications and experience, and are passionate about helping NatWest Group achieve its financial goals, then we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with NatWest Group’s standards.
Provide support and guidance to the wider Finance team.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
Monitor and report on financial performance and identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Prepare and review financial statements and regulatory reports.
Review and analyse financial data to identify trends and suggest areas for improvement.
Ensure internal controls are in place and operating efficiently.
Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
