  1. Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, and principles to ensure alignment with the organization's business goals and objectives.
  2. Lead the enterprise architecture team in the design, development, and implementation of architecture solutions that drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, to understand business needs and provide expert guidance on technology solutions.
  4. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions that can improve the organization's overall architecture and technology landscape.
  5. Oversee the creation and maintenance of architecture models, frameworks, and standards to ensure consistency and standardization across the organization.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for architecture initiatives.
  7. Provide thought leadership and mentorship to the team, enabling them to develop their skills and capabilities in enterprise architecture and modelling.
  8. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the organization's architecture to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
  9. Develop and monitor architecture metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and success of architecture initiatives.
  10. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the integration and compatibility of architecture solutions with existing systems and processes.
  11. Participate in the development and management of the architecture budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  12. Communicate and present architecture plans, progress, and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  13. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in all architecture initiatives.
  14. Continuously review and enhance the organization's architecture governance processes to ensure efficient decision-making and streamlined operations.
  15. Represent the organization at industry events and conferences, showcasing our innovative architecture solutions and promoting the NatWest Group brand.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience As An Enterprise Architect With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Designing And Implementing Complex Enterprise Systems.

  • Strong Proficiency In Modelling Techniques, Including Enterprise Architecture Frameworks Such As Togaf Or Zachman.

  • Proven Leadership Skills, With Experience Managing And Developing High-Performing Teams.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of The Financial Industry, Particularly In The Banking Sector, And A Solid Understanding Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Senior Executives And Business Leaders To Drive Strategic Initiatives And Transformations.
