In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our electronic trading operations and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of financial markets, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset to join us in this exciting and challenging opportunity.

  1. Conduct risk assessments and analysis of electronic trading processes and systems.
  2. Develop and implement controls and procedures to mitigate potential risks.
  3. Monitor and review electronic trading activities and transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Investigate and report any anomalies or suspicious activities related to electronic trading.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations related to electronic trading.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any gaps in risk management processes.
  7. Provide support and guidance to traders and other team members on risk and compliance related matters.
  8. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance understanding of risk management and compliance within the electronic trading team.
  9. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to risk and compliance policies and procedures.
  10. Communicate and escalate any potential or actual risk issues to senior management.
  11. Analyze and report on key risk metrics and trends to effectively manage and mitigate risks.
  12. Participate in industry forums and working groups to stay informed on best practices and regulatory updates.
  13. Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance risk management and compliance.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to risk and compliance activities.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Electronic Trading Risk And Control Within A Financial Institution

  • Strong Understanding Of Electronic Trading Platforms And Systems, Including Knowledge Of Market Structure And Regulations

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Trading Risks

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Risk Management Strategies And Control Frameworks, With A Focus On Electronic Trading Activities.
