Lead the development and implementation of NatWest Group's data science and business intelligence platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the platform and drive digital transformation.
Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
Design and implement data models and data architecture to support business requirements.
Manage a team of data scientists and business intelligence analysts to deliver high-quality data-driven insights.
Drive the adoption of data-driven decision making across the organization.
Monitor and analyze data platform performance to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies.
Communicate with stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on the platform's progress and impact on business outcomes.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data science and business intelligence to continuously improve the platform's capabilities.
Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical skills and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
Take ownership of the platform's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective solutions.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources for the platform's development and maintenance.
Ensure the platform is scalable and adaptable to accommodate future business needs and growth.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Data Science And Business Intelligence: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Data Science And Business Intelligence, With Several Years Of Experience In Leading And Managing Data Analytics Teams.
Proficiency In Data Analysis And Visualization Tools: A Data Science & Business Intelligence Platform Lead Should Be Well-Versed In Various Data Analysis And Visualization Tools Such As Sql, Python, Tableau, And Power Bi.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Team Lead, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage Projects, Timelines, And Resources To Deliver Quality Results.
Business Acumen And Strategic Thinking: The Role Requires The Candidate To Have A Deep Understanding Of The Banking Industry And The Ability To Think Strategically To Identify And Implement Data-Driven Solutions That Align With Business Goals.
