Job Description

As a Controls Testing Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk management and internal control processes.   1. Conduct internal control testing: Perform detailed and thorough reviews of NatWest Group's risk management and internal control processes to identify any potential weaknesses or gaps.
  2. Identify potential risks: Analyze data and reports to identify potential risks and areas for improvement in the company's operations and processes.
  3. Mitigate risks: Collaborate with team members to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address any identified weaknesses or gaps in controls.
  4. Communicate findings: Clearly and effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including management and relevant departments.
  5. Monitor compliance: Monitor and track compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure that the company is meeting all regulatory requirements.
  6. Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting and findings.
  7. Develop testing procedures: Develop and maintain testing procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  8. Provide recommendations: Make recommendations for improving processes and controls based on audit findings and industry best practices.
  9. Stay updated on regulations: Keep up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure NatWest Group's processes and controls remain in compliance.
  10. Participate in training: Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to risk management and internal controls.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Internal Audit, Controls Testing, Or Risk Management.

  • Strong Understanding Of Internal Controls And Risk Management Principles.

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Experience With Audit Software.
