Compliance Manager

At NatWest Group, we are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the execution of our regulatory compliance objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations.We are seeking an individual with excellent communication and people management skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will need to have a deep understanding of the regulatory environment and be able to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.The successful candidate will be expected to have at least 5 years of experience in a compliance related role, and hold a relevant qualification in law, finance, or economics. Additionally, relevant qualifications in risk management and/or certification in compliance-related standards would be an advantage.

Responsibilities: • Lead the execution of the organization’s regulatory compliance objectives. • Analyze and solve complex compliance-related issues. • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures. • Monitor and assess the organization’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations. • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial products and services. • Provide guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholders. • Manage day-to-day operations of the compliance team. • Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Monitor industry trends and changes in the regulatory environment. • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. • Prepare and present reports to senior management. • Track and report progress on compliance initiatives.
