Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Lead to join NatWest Group. As the Compliance Lead, you will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working with colleagues across the Group to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in the compliance space. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically. You will be responsible for leading the team that is responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing the regulatory and compliance framework across the Group.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Services, Law or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You must also have a deep understanding of compliance regulations, industry best practices, and experience in developing and managing effective compliance programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.If you are a highly motivated professional with the relevant qualifications and experience, we look forward to hearing from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, maintain and implement the regulatory and compliance framework across the NatWest Group.
  2. Monitor and assess regulatory developments and their implications for the Group.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  4. Lead and manage the compliance team.
  5. Provide guidance and advice on compliance issues to the Group.
  6. Develop and manage effective compliance programs.
  7. Identify and manage potential compliance risks.
  8. Report to management on compliance performance.
  9. Develop and deliver compliance training to staff.
  10. Liaise with external regulators and stakeholders.
