  1. Develop and implement strategies and initiatives that align with NatWest Group's values and contribute to our climate and ESG agenda.
  2. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and external partners, to drive sustainable and responsible business practices across the organization.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in climate and ESG, and provide guidance and recommendations to senior leadership.
  4. Lead and manage projects related to climate and ESG, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of our climate and ESG initiatives.
  6. Monitor and report on the progress and impact of our climate and ESG initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  7. Develop and deliver training and educational programs to increase awareness and understanding of climate and ESG principles among employees.
  8. Act as a champion for sustainability and responsible business practices within the organization, inspiring and motivating others to take action.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and teams to integrate climate and ESG considerations into business processes and decision-making.
  10. Represent NatWest Group at external events and conferences, sharing our climate and ESG expertise and promoting our initiatives.
  11. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges related to climate and ESG, and develop contingency plans.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, seeking out new opportunities to enhance our impact and performance in the areas of climate and ESG.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science, Sustainability, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Climate And Esg Risk Management, Preferably Within The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Global Climate And Esg Issues, Regulations, And Reporting Frameworks.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Climate And Esg Strategies, Policies, And Initiatives.

  • Excellent Project Management And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
