
Staff Technical Support Engineer
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Staff Technical Support Engineer to join National Instruments’ Technical Support team. This position is perfect for an organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The Staff Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers across various product lines. Ideal candidates should have a strong technical background and be comfortable working with a variety of hardware, software, and operating systems. The successful candidate will also be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide an excellent customer service experience. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or other communication mediums.
- Troubleshoot customer inquiries and provide solutions to problems related to hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Demonstrate a high-level of customer service and communication skills.
- Develop and maintain technical and customer service documentation.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and keep customers updated on the progress of their resolution.
- Utilize a variety of software and hardware tools to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve customer issues.
- Identify potential areas of improvement in process and procedure and suggest solutions.
- Train customers on product usage and explain features.
- Remain up to date on new products and developments in the industry.
