Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Staff Electrical Engineer to join our Autonomous Driving & Electric Vehicle Test team at National Instruments. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing custom testing solutions for automated driving systems and electric vehicles, and will bring strong technical and problem-solving skills to our team.To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience working with electrical systems. You must have extensive knowledge of electrical and electronic components, circuit design, and data analysis. You must also be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be able to communicate complex technical designs to a range of stakeholders.If you have a passion for developing creative solutions and are looking for an opportunity to work on exciting projects with a global leader in testing and measurement, then this is the job for you!

Responsibilities: • Develop customized testing solutions for automated driving systems and electric vehicles. • Design, build, and debug complex electrical and electronic circuits. • Analyze data from testing and provide feedback to stakeholders. • Collaborate with team members to ensure the successful completion of projects. • Monitor and troubleshoot system problems. • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies in the automotive and electric vehicle industries. • Keep abreast of safety standards and industry regulations. • Write technical reports and documentation.
