Job Description

We are excited to announce an opening for a Sr. Technical Support Engineer at National Instruments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and energetic individual to join our dynamic and fast-paced team.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams to promote the use of National Instruments' products. This individual will have a passion for problem solving, exceptional communication skills, and demonstrate an aptitude for learning.To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5 or more years of experience in technical support, customer service, or application engineering. Experience in software development, hardware design, and experience with National Instruments products are also desirable. Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to customer inquiries and requests for technical support in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Provide technical support to customers, partners, and internal teams in the use of National Instruments products.
  3. Troubleshoot and debug technical issues and identify appropriate solutions.
  4. Collaborate with engineering teams and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Document customer issues and resolutions in the company’s support database.
  6. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of National Instruments products and services.
  7. Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
  8. Provide feedback to product teams regarding customer needs and usage trends.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
  10. Assist with product demonstrations and presentations.
