
Master Scheduler
Create the assembly line specific build schedules over the mid and long-term horizon (4-24 months). Align with Sales & Demand planning on the sales & deliverable build requirements that drive the plan. Align with the Manufacturing Engineers assigned to each site to understand site constraints and incorporate these into the scheduling algorithm. Lead the cross-functional change management process when issues occur inside the frozen window. Build the model and run the analysis to identify the most effective solution for the site (minimizes costs / maximizes revenue opportunity) given the issue (such as): urgent sales change requests (demand re-balancing, delivery schedule changes); Production (equipment breakdown) or supply chain (material shortage) issues. Pull data from the ERP & the production management systems to understand status. Use data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI to generate the status reports.
2-5 years related experience in materials management, production planning, or material scheduling in a manufacturing company
Possesses statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistics to product and process improvement projects.
Proficiency in Oracle and Blue Yonder/ Logility/ Kinaxis is strongly desired
Has a solid grasp of manufacturing principles, including Process, Information, and Material flow.
