- Oversee a team of phlebotomists to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care at our Patient Service Center (PSC).
- Develop and implement protocols and procedures for phlebotomy services to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise phlebotomy staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of phlebotomy supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are always adequately stocked and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and timely delivery of services to patients.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to promote professional growth and development.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of phlebotomy procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding phlebotomy services.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of phlebotomy operations.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and techniques to improve the phlebotomy process and patient experience.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, Or Healthcare Administration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Phlebotomy, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role.
Certification As A Phlebotomy Technician (Pbt) From A Recognized Organization, Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Knowledge Of Laboratory Regulations, Including Clia, Cap, And Hipaa.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
