- Oversee the daily operations of the research and development laboratory to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Supervise and manage a team of laboratory staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization initiatives.
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all company and laboratory safety protocols.
- Analyze data and results to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends, incorporating new technologies and techniques into laboratory operations.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Conduct regular meetings with team members to communicate updates, review performance, and provide training and development opportunities.

- Communicate with senior management regarding laboratory operations, providing updates, and making recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including HIPAA, CLIA, and OSHA.
- Represent the company at conferences and events, promoting our cutting-edge research and development efforts.
Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Field (E.g. Biology, Chemistry, Genetics) Or Equivalent Experience In A Laboratory Setting.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role Within An R&D Laboratory, Preferably In The Biotechnology Or Healthcare Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Operations, Including Equipment Maintenance, Quality Control, And Regulatory Compliance.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Mentor A Team Of Scientists And Technicians.
Proven Track Record Of Project Management And The Ability To Prioritize And Delegate Tasks To Meet Tight Deadlines And Achieve Project Goals.
