  1. Lead and supervise a team of clinical laboratory professionals to ensure high quality and efficient operations.
  2. Monitor and evaluate the performance of laboratory staff, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure excellence in their work.
  3. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  4. Oversee the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to implement new testing methods and technologies, continuously improving the company's offerings.
  6. Review and approve laboratory results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to healthcare providers and patients.
  7. Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
  8. Train new laboratory staff and provide ongoing training and development for current team members.
  9. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the laboratory.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in women's health and genetic testing, incorporating new knowledge into laboratory operations.
  11. Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the company's accreditation and certification processes.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and a strong work ethic among laboratory staff.
  13. Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.
  14. Serve as a liaison between the laboratory and other departments, communicating effectively and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
  15. Uphold the company's mission and values, promoting the importance of women's health and the impact of genetic testing in improving and saving lives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Cls) Or Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) By A Recognized Accrediting Agency.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Role.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Laboratory Procedures And Protocols, Including Clia And Cap Regulations.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Laboratory Staff.
