Collecting high-quality blood samples from patients for genetic testing.
Ensuring accurate patient identification and sample labeling.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Communicating effectively with patients to ensure a positive experience.
Adhering to all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Troubleshooting and resolving any sample collection issues.
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of sample collections.
Collaborating with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of samples.
Assisting with training and mentoring new phlebotomy staff.
Staying current on industry trends and best practices related to phlebotomy.
Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities.
Adhering to company policies and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Phlebotomist, Preferably In A Senior Or Lead Role.
Current Certification In Phlebotomy From A Recognized Organization (E.g. Ascp, Amt).
Proficiency In Venipuncture, Capillary Puncture, And Specimen Processing Techniques.
Experience With Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems And Ability To Accurately Document And Track Patient Information.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Co-Workers, And Healthcare Professionals.
